The latest report from IHS iSupply illustrated that although facing with difficulties, the main market for 2011 will still be in Europe, whose share will amount 70% of the world.

Among 15 main PV markets, 9 of them are from Europe. The new PV installation will be 15.7GW in the Europe and 22.2GW in the world for 2011. Germany will have 9.4GW and Italy will have 3.9GW. Other 7 important markets are France, Belgium, UK, Czech Republic, Spain, Greece and Bulgaria.

Actually the share of Europe will be lower than that of last year, 78.1%, but still no doubt the king. The report also focused on the main markets.

For Italy, the new installation was predicted to be 5GW. But recently the government implied they would less the support to PV and new policies would come out at the end of April.

In Germany, it is also forecast that the FiT will be reduced in the middle of this year. The new installation for 2015 will be decreased to 5GW, which was even smaller than that of 2010.

Spain will downgrade the FiT by 30%.

France has let the FiT stop until the new FiT announced at the end of Q1.

Czech will cease the subsidies for ground-based systems by March. The new installation will be decreased from 1.3GW to 350MW for this year.
